Mykelle S. Coleman

School Psychologist

Mykelle S. Coleman is a school psychologist. She graduated from Western CT State University (WCSU) with her bachelor’s in Psychology, from Southern CT State University (SCSU) with her master’s and 6th-year degree in School Psychology, and also from the University of Connecticut (UConn) with her doctoral degree in School Psychology.

​

She has a passion for and commitment to social justice. She has received awards including SCSU’s Top Owl Social Justice Award. Her general interests/hobbies include traveling, writing, and playing the drums.

Gina Norman

Graduate Student Researcher

Gina Norman is a doctoral candidate in the School Psychology program at Georgia State University (GSU). With an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, she has worked as a mental health Counselor providing school-based therapy to K-5 students and their families and served in multiple Pre-K classrooms as an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant. In the past, she has also worked as a Research Assistant in various university and public research labs focusing on effective supports for individuals with complex PTSD.

 

She is currently interested in researching school-based early childhood mental health interventions, as well as quality school practices in family engagement. She looks forward to growing as an effective advocate and service provider to children with disabilities and their families.

Jesslynn Rocha Neves

Clinical Educator

Dr. Jesslynn Rocha Neves is Clinical Educator at the University of Massachusets - Amherst (UMass Amherst). Her research focuses on school climate, international school psychology, and culturally responsive practices. Dr. Rocha Neves aims to promote educational equity and advocacy for traditionally marginalized students.

Michael Li

School Psychologist

Dr. Michael Li was born and raised in NYC. He completed his undergrad at Boston University (BU) and then worked for a few years in Tokyo as an assistant English language teacher.

​

Dr. Li completed his doctoral degree at the University of Connecticut (UConn). In his free time, he loves to catch up on video games, TV/anime, baking, and napping.
